W. KAMAU BELL & Hari Kondabolu

Description: W Kamu Bell

Time Out New York says, "Happily, (Kamu) Bell finds comic gold in the wide range of material he mines, offering provocative insights into an ugly reality. FOUR STARS". The San Francisco Weekly honored Kamau as the Comedian of the Year in 2008 and also profiled him in a cover story in 2009.

Kamau has appeared at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Kamau’s other TV appearances include Comics Unleashed. Most recently he performed it at The 2009 New York International Fringe Festival.

The San Francisco Weekly called Kamau "smart, stylish, and very much in the mold of politically outspoken comedians like Dave Chappelle and Margaret Cho" — though he was more excited that they called him, "handsome."

Description: Hari KondaboluFormer Seattle comedian Hari Kondabolu returns!!

Though born and raised in Queens, NY, Hari Kondabolu was a Seattle resident and proud part of its local comedy scene from 2005-2007. His performance at the 2006 Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival was said to have "eviscerated Western hypocrisy with a verbal razor that had overtones of Lenny Bruce." He was later described by the same paper as "a young man reaching for the hand-scalding torch of confrontational comics like Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor." Like his comedic heroes, Hari Kondabolu wants to speak truth to power with confrontational and personal material. Unlike them, he does not want to die of a morphine overdose or set himself on fire.

Hari has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central's Live at Gotham and was featured in the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. He is also set to make his major motion picture debut in the 20th Century Fox film All About Steve.
